Page numbering in Word

One of my users has been tasked (for some obscure reason)
to do page numbering on a large document. The odd request
is that they require the first number of pages to have no
page numbers but start somewhere lower down with page 1
and then sequence the rest of the document. I was unable
to find anything in Help.

Insert a next-page section break at the end of the last non-numbered page,
turn off "same as previous" in the header and footer of the second Word
section, insert the page number in the header or footer of the second Word
section, and format the page number to start numbering at 1. See
