Whenever I fill out a form to get listings at a web site
and then back out of a page I get the message below. I
have XP and IE6 on both of my computers - same version,
with current updates as of today. I only have a problem
on one computer.

"Warning: Page has Expired
The page you requested was created using information you
submitted in a form. This page is no longer available. As
a security precaution, Internet Explorer does not
automatically resubmit your information for you. To
resubmit your information and view this Web page, click
the Refresh button."

Okay, I'm smiling. ;-(
I still hope someone will help me with this. "Refresh"
is a workaround. I want this computer to work just like
my other one -- and keep the previous data intact when I
go back a page.

Hi,

"Page has expired" can also be enforced by web server when you are entering
sensitive data to protect anyone going back after you have done with the PC
in e.g. library and viewing your data.

Could this be it? Try visiting same page on two PCs and doing exactly the
same. What are the results?

Also, do you allow cookies on this PC where you get "page has expired"
error?

I have two computers that are networked and wireless. I
have checked all the settings I can think of on both
computers and they are alike. The cookies settings are
the same. I only have this problem on one computer. The
other one works fine. I'm sure there is something I've
missed, but I don't know what it is.

Hi slk,
In my view, the computer that lets you return to the filled in form is
behaving false, maybe it doesn't even send the data and therefore lets
you get back. Checked that?
