Page hang when requesting page several times

When quickly requesting a page in quick succession - hitting F5 - I've
noticed that the page will hang and not return. If I leave the window for a
period of time and re-request the page then it will reload.

When it first hangs though, if I open a new process of IE and request the
same URL then it will load the page fine.

Is this a bug? I originally thought it was either: a bug in my code
(deadlock); or an issue with IIS, but it now appears to be a browser
problem, as Firefox is fine.
