I have attempted to move the page file several times but everytime, it
reverts back to C:. I have this drive partitioned and want to move it to the
second partition. Win98 had no trouble with this. Also, offtopic, when
installing WinXP, I couldn't get the option of formating the second
partition in FAT. Only NTFS. I'm curious why, I formated the boot partition
in FAT.
Thanks,

Partition type is determined when the partition is created, not when
it is formatted.

In Windows XP if you use the disk management tool to create the
partition if the partition size is larger than 32 gb it can only be
created as NTFS. If it is smaller than 32 gb you should get a choice
of FAT32 or NTFS (but the default will still be NTFS).
