I'd like to optimize my paging file settings for a WinXP laptop.

This is a recent Toshiba Satellite P105-S921 with 160GB hard drive and 2GB
RAM.

The factory setting is 1536MB initial 3072MB max.

Under my normal load, the Performance tab of Windows Task Manager shows
~600MB PF Usage and ~1250000 available Physical Memory (K) out of 2095212
total.

Let Windows XP (the system) handle (manage) it. It's your best option.
