page expired

When I do a search on something. And then click "Back" button i get: "Warning: Page has Expired " page
And in order to see it I need to click "Refresh" and then it's fine
How do I change this settings

Go to Tools > Options > General. In the Temporary Internet Files section,
click on Settings. Check "Automatically".

I got the error message a lot (page expired).

The Tools > ..> temporary internet files (as below) was already
checked "automatically".

I deleted the temporary 'cookies' and 'files' in the internet options
and I no longer seem to get this message.

I have no idea why this would fix the problem, but it apparently it
has.
