I get a "page cannot be displayed" error at web sites with searchable data
bases. After viewing an item on a list generated from specific search
criteria, when I attempt to return to the search list I get the following
error:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be
experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser
settings
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This has happened at more than one site. I have played with the browser
settings without success. I noticed this after installing XP SP2, but I
can't say that it was directly related. I have tried an alternative browser
and do not get an error in the same situation. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi Roy :-)

Try the following and see if it helps:

Can not open webpages

Go to Start|Run and type Cmd then OK.

In the Cmd window that opens, type (or just copy/paste all of
this with a return after the last one):

Regsvr32 SOFTPUB.DLL
Regsvr32 Wintrust.dll
Regsvr32 Initpki.dll
Regsvr32 Dssenh.dll
Regsvr32 Rsaenh.dll
Regsvr32 Gpkcsp.dll
Regsvr32 Sccbase.dll

Thanks Jan. I tried a few of the things that you suggested. What finally
worked deleting my profile as suggested in Support document 303807. I
appreciate the help.
