Page cannot be displayed

I'm accessing a web server on my local network.
I'm able to display pages, but I'm having a problem
submitting a form. The form prompts for a user name
and password and I enter the correct values.
The browser displays "Page cannot be displayed".

When I use another PC with Version 5.5 of IE it works fine.

My PC has Version 6.0.2800.1106CO
