Page Break Preview-Remove Page Number Possible?

When I go Page Break Preview, I notice that the page
number in the background appears. Can I remove this
numberand the word Page totally?

AFAIK, no.

However, if you have access to a Mac with Office 2004, you can use Page
Layout view, which allows you to see exactly what will appear on the
page, while allowing you to enter data and formulas, edit/format cells,
insert headers and footers, adjust and set column and row widths and
heights in inches/cm, etc.
