P4V88+ Nothing on the monitor

Ive just built my first PC, , when I booted it up for the first time
it didnt go into bios set up :/, so I installed windows, this was
going fine untill the w=end where It advised to reset the system, so
I did so And the notorious Blue screen of death came Up and sayd to
reset th PC, so I did so and now when I switch it on the CPU fan
continues to work, but my monitor Has "No signal..." :/ what should I
do???

you didn't 'see' the bios post screen?

check the cables to the monitor

check the vid card is seated properly

check the memory is seated

still no video? strip it down to the minimum vid card -1 stick of memory-
cpu

still no video//.
switch video cards if you can

suspect the PSU

Does it POST? Do you get any BIOS beep codes?
