I have 2 XP Pro machines connecting through a wireless
router. Both access the internet fine. I have de-
selected "Use Simple File Sharing" in folder options, and
set permissions to allow "everyone" full control of both
machines. Drives are also shared appropriately. One
machine can ping and browse network, the other can do
neither. This connection was working fine, then stopped.
I can find no permission or sharing issues. Frustrated.
HELP PLEASE!

Sounds like a firewall issue. Disable or remove all firewall, including ICF
during setup and testing. Your router will provide sufficient protection
while your other firewalls are non-functional.

.
That's what I thought too, but I don't have any
firewalls enabled

Is the non-working computer getting an IP address from the router?

What exactly happens when it tries to ping and browse the network?
What do the error messages say?
