So in which part of the newsgroup title did you see 'newbie help',
'security fix', 'virus prevention' ?
Ok Neil. Even I have to admit that I can't figure out a good reason why the
OP included Windows Media groups, BUT that doesn't mean the OP doesn't have
one.
I've called your optician, so no
need to worry about that one ;-)
Sorry, I won't go. I'm nearsighted but I'm starting to have problems
reading with my glasses on. I ain't gonna have no optician try and
prescribe me bifocals!
Actually, all I have to do for the moment is remove my glasses to read
clearly, but now my forehead has the same pressure marks from my glasses, as
my nose has!
The user has hopefully now been pointed to a newsgroup where more
appropriate help might be found,
Huh? I saw no such pointing in this thread.
but really its quite pointless for
trolls such as yourself to keep on about it.
Naw! As long as people like you keep replying, there is alway a point to
make.
I guess fyi, this buy-in you talk about is based on uninformed
speculation,
No it's not. From an individual consumers point of view, any copyrighted
product that is copy-protected from the paying customer in order to prevent
it from being "fairly used" is damaged goods.
That is not speculation, that is this individual's opinion!

I'm possibly one of the only open-source mvp's around, as
a PHP/MySQL developer on linux platforms with a preference for real
player digital encoding and distribution, cross browser development
and web accessibilty, I find your comments crashingly boring and
utterly pointless.
LOL! Real Player! I'll stick with formats that aren't proprietary.
One final point I guess 'MS' newsgroups are the same as any other
newsgroup, just a distributed nntp discussion which has no link to any
sponsoring organisation. So Yah, that blows, huh ?
ROFL! While MS offers no formal support in these PUBLIC groups, the do
censor the hell out of them. Also MS hosts these groups on their own web
site, and many, if not most in my group don't even post through a nntp
server, but though a web browser from MS's web server.
"So Yah, that blows, huh?"
Take it steady dude,
Neil.
No thanks. I'd rather have fun!
