1 cannot stop computor overtyping, 1 have been in tools the options ticked overtype but it still continues to overtyp
can you help please
 
Press the *Insert* key (once only, it is a switch)

Greetings --

Have you tried pressing the <Insert> key a single type? It's
whole purpose is to toggle text insertion on and off. (When text
insertion is "off," the nature result is to overwrite text.)
