Overclocking Ram

Hi,

I have 2 lots of this ram in my pc 4gb.

I was wondering if I could make it run any faster without damaging the meory. up to 1000mhz??

Specs,

INTEL CORE 2 DUO 2.40GHZ L2 FSB 1066MHZ
GIGABYTE GA965P DQ6 REV 1
GEIL PC6400 800MHZ 4GB
SEAGATE 250GB SATA 11 , SAMSUNG 400GB SATA 11
BFG 8800GT OC DDR3 512MB
CREATIVE SOUND BLASTER GAMER EDTION
ASUS DRW-1814BL 18x DVD±RW IDE DUAL LAYER LIGHTSCRIBE
WINDOWS VISTA HOME PREMUIM 64 BIT

I have 512 mb sticks of that in my Ds3........running at 475 mhz.

You'll have to increase ram voltage though.
Think mine is at 2.1v.

Would this be the right setting fro the 1000mhz or will it run at 900mhz instead??

What are the risks of doing this could the ram fail or could this damage the system?

Agreed, just being told what to do is no way to learn.
You need to understand temps/volts/timings etc etc.
