Goldilocks

Last night I tired to reply to an email and found that all the functions were
shaded and inactive. Rebooting did not help...Had worked fine. Outlook 2003
on an XP

To clarify: I can receive emails and my internet connection is fine. Please
help...thank you.

Did you already activate your version of Outlook/Office?
Also, can you still create new documents in Word, Excel or PowerPoint? The
behavior you describe makes me assume you are in reduced functionality mode.

Oh! I had not tried to work with WORD...but you are right...can't do that
either.

That makes sense...I recently had to re-load everything after the computer
was in the shop...I keep getting those pesky "Activate Now" alerts, that I
never have time to read...I bought the program years ago, but have had
several computer crashes that require re-loading...seems I'm over my limit
and need to actually call them.

Thank you...your answer was "spot on".

You're welcome! :-)

not type in? i just installed this new outlook version with a brand new
Lenovo laptop i recieved on Monday, please help, i've been working on this
