OutlookXP..Auto-Completes not saving

Debutante

We have a user that is sending e-mail messages successfully. When he types
in the name at another time they don't populate as a auto-complete.

Why are they not saving?..is there a resolution.

Is the "Suggest Names" feature turned on? If so, then the user has a corrupt
profile and will need to create a new one.
 
The feature is on..the last resort was to delete the profile..I hate to
delete the profile because then they lose their signatures and public
folders..but if I have no choice.
