Outlook's Out of office Assistant

When turning on Outlook's Out of office Assistant,

Internally I get response from Out of office, however no
response to the outside world. How do you allow resonses from senders outsde of you exchange system?
 
The Exchange administrator needs to turn the option on via Exchange
Administrator (Exchange 5.5) or Exchange System Manager (Exchange
2000/2003). If you are the Exchange administrator, can you post what
version of Exchange?
