When exiting Outlook2000, window 'Please wait while Microsoft Outlook exists'
stays on my screen forever (atleast 15 minutes) and in task manager Outlook
is running. Only way to close Outlook is by ending the task. Any solutions?

I've seen this happen while using a VPN connection when the VPN Connection is
disconnected and Outlook is still open. It's possible that this may lock it
up when a Local Area Network connection becomes disconnected too. I've also
only seen this when using Outlook 2000 as client to Exchange 5.5. It doesn't
happen with Exchange 2000.

If this is happening, you can close Outlook before disconnecting from the
network connection and this should stop.
