I downloaded trial version from MS website of MS Office 2003. I had MS 2002
with Frontpage that it has been temperarily upgraded from with Windows XP
Professional 2002 SP2.I set up everything,(IPS and email account, password to
log on to Verizon.net"DSL")and seemed okay then closed out of it. Clicked the
Outlook quick launch icon and it would start to open then a error pop up said
c:/ documents and settings/username/local settings/Temp. offline files
setting not compatible with this version.See administrator for further
assistance. I am not a business person and I am the owner and administrator
of this computer. I am self taught on the computer and catch on fast if I am
told what needs to be done.If anybody knows of this problem and understands
what I just wrote, can you please help me out? Thanks,
Frustrated and won't leave it alone until it's fixed!!

If you installed the trial and created a new 2003 style .pst file (unicode)
it is incompatible with prior versions. Open Outlook 2003, create a 97-2002
style .pst file and drag and drop your new format items to the old version
..pst file. You can then open this one in prior versions of Outlook.
