1. I have Office XP Home which came with the Dell I got
in June 2003. I have been unable to determine which
version of Outlook I have - 2002 or 2003. Can you help?

2. I have three profiles set up. Help articles say I
can switch between them by either:
a) Clicking on the arrow next to the Send button in a new
message. But my Send button doesn't have an arrow.
b) Click on the "accounts" button in the New Message
toolbar. But I can't find an "accounts" button.
When I want to switch profiles I have to close Outlook
and reopen with a different profile. Can you help?

Thanks.

Look under Help-About for the version of any Office program.

Office XP contains Outlook 2002.

The article probably says "accounts", not "profiles". If you have multiple
accounts in one profile, there should be an "Accounts" button next to the
Send. The Accounts button has a drop-down next to it that enables you to
choose which account sends the messages.
b) Click on the "accounts" button in the New Message
toolbar. But I can't find an "accounts" button.

See above.
When I want to switch profiles I have to close Outlook
and reopen with a different profile.

That's the only way multiple profiles works.
