I am currently using Outlook Express as my e-mail and
would like to switch to Outlook. I have Outlook 2000 with
the SP3 upgrade.
MY email provider is MSN. I can not seem to configure my
edition of out look to get or send mail.
I called MSN tech support and was told something about
2000 being web based and not compatible with msn mail. I
was told to get outlook XP, What is this, I can not find
it on the web or on the Microsoft web site.
Is it part of office XP or Office 2003? Is it the same as
outlood 2002? Some advise please

Thanks to all

Bob

Have you identified Outlook as your default email client
in Explorer/Tools/Internet Options...?

What have you tried?

They're lying. Outlook 2000 is no more web-based than my grandmother. You
just need to get the POP and SMTP server, username and password settings,
and authentication settings correct.

There is no Outlook XP. Office XP contains Outlook 2002. That is not the
same as Outlook 2003, which is the next version after 2002.

Bob,
Tried to reply directly to your posted email address but
your msn.com address "failed" for some reason. Contact me
at (e-mail address removed) This discussion group is very
slow and hard to navigate.

Bob,
Are you aware that in your origional post, your name and
domain name are spelled differently? ie. "Bob Knutowski"
