Can I install Outlook onto XP embedded using a memory stick?

There are two possibilities, your English is bad or since my English is bad
then I have trouble understanding your question.

Outlook like outlook express, or from office?

If it is from Office then I think that you will have legal issues.
If you want outlook express and you don't have Target Designer and XPe
project.
If this is what you want depending on your current XPe image
Then this "can be done" (Only if you don't know what to do with your time.)

If you have XPe tools, please excuse me and ask more detailed question.

Thanks for getting back to me but its not my English that is the problem. It
my understanding of the product. 2 weeks ago I had never seen embedded
before and now my company expect me to be the font of all knowledge
regarding it.

Let me try to explain the situation better. I have a client who has a
intergrated XP embedded terminal. He has installed a USB stick as an extra
drive. He wants to know if he can install Outlook there as he want to be
able to syncronise Outlook with his PDA. So as you can see I am a novice
when it comes to XP embedded.

Hope you understand what I am trying to say.

tim,

Not having access to original XPe dev project (SLX) of that embedded
terminal device you won't be able to do much on the device (unless you
reverse engineering the project).
Depending on what XPe components have been included in to the runtime image
provided by manufacturer you may be able to install Outlook Express app (if
it is not there yet). You may give it a try and see if any error pops up.

If you are referring to MS Office Outlook - you won't be able to install it
because of legal issues. Besides there are some technical issues too that
will be hard to fix.

Unfortunately I understood you question perfectly first time you asked, but
I just wanted to be sure that this was not a translation error.

As Konstantin said you can try to install Outlook Express manually. But if
it is not there and you don't have internet explorer in your image (Since he
bright many things in your image). Then I would not waste time trying to do
this. But it is your call.

Best regards,
Slobodan
