You don't, unless you're willing to leave your computer up and on-line the
whole time you're gone. Unfortunately, Outlook's Out Of Office feature only
functions when used with an Exchange Server. Check with your ISP to see if
they offer a vacation response as part of their email service, many do.
Otherwise, you have to do this with message rules and, again, leave your
machine on the whole time. In general, home vacation responses are
considered a security risk because it informs any bad guy that may stumble
upon your email address that you are not home and he's free to do whatever
nasty things that may come to mind.
