outlook XP

At the risk of sounding stupid how do I synchronise
Outlook so I have access to my emails offline. The only
thing I can find is in the properties tab of each folder
and it has a Synchronisation filter but this is shaded
out!

I presume you use Exchange server?

Ignore the part that refers to PST files if you don't use them currently.
