A user started typing an email that read "Here is your
report. Thanks for your patience." Her language bar
popped up and her email then started typing on it's own
the following:

"go on right now known noon on bring in the long and no
one, war will go any way by NATO, one of them in their
own lives and then that and in and here in new line and
Iowa and new and that I called after I want them to the
feand/Now only his influence the user moves one new The
ten Friend and then"

I went on the KB and found article 313176 about Programs
May Start, Quit, Lose and Gain Focus Randomly and the
computer may appear to be controlled by someone who is
remotely connected to the computer. The cause can be
speech recognition turned on but not configured.

The article made sense, but what concerns me is what was
typed. There was no radio on near her work area and no
one was having any conversation about the war, NATO,
etc.

So, if the speech recognition was turned on, but no
conversation of that nature was going on, where would
Outlook XP pick up that text?

We did run virus scan and the computer is clean.
