outlook xp sent items problem

hello


emails are not leaving the outbox with error 0x800ccc0f.
i have tried to delete the profile and setup a new with the same results

also similarly there are no emails visible in the outbox but when i try a
send and receive it says its trying to send 26 emails.


if any one can help, i lokk forward to your reply

Two things that can cause this are failure to authenticate to the outgoing
server and the scanning of outgoing mail for viruses. Do the former and
disable the latter.
