I just obtained MS Outlook and I need to set the time for checking
mail every xx minutes, like in Eudora. I have looked all over and
can't find anything to define this.

TIA,
J

Never mind I found it.

Tools > Options > Mail Setup > Send and Receive section.

I use Outlook 2003, for me that setting is under
Tools --> Send/Receive --> Define Send/Receive groups
You'll get a dialog, and the setting is in the bottom half of the screen.

If you are using more than 2 accounts, be sure to set the send/receive
interval to no less than 10 minutes to avoid stepping on other connections
if you are downloading a large file.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
