I notice if I stay in the inbox, even though new messages have arrived, they
won't show unless I flip to another folder and then back or I click on send
and receive. I'm running Office XP with all the patches.

Thanks

Asked and answered hundreds of times. Google this group for "UDP".

Thanks - I'm using this group through outlook express - I searched on
messages and there were none other than yours with UDP - same for subject.

Can you tell me where to find this group on the web?

Thanks - I did a search - the ones I found were for patches for the server
however only one workstation is suffering this issue. The Server is
Exchange 2003 (all patches current), running Windows 2003 (all patches
current). The workstation has had Office uninstalled and reinstalled with
all the patches. No other workstation (25 others) are showing this issue.
It is possible I've misread the solutions. Are there any specific to a
workstation and not the server? Or is it possible I need to make these
registration changes on the server even though only one workstation is
effected?

I forgot to mention the workstation and the server are all on an unmanaged
switch with no routers or anything else between them.
