Outlook wont start up after clossing it

Dear friends,

Dear friends,

I use outlook 2003 and it won't start again after closing
it, the only thing to do is restarting the computer. Is
there somebody how knows whats wrong?

My OL2000 does the same thing on a regular basis. However, instead of
actually closing, I found that OL leaves the "process" running which can be
stopped by using the Task Manager. Use CTRL+ALT+Delete to bring up Task
Manager, select the "Processes" tab, click on the heading button "Image
Name" to sort alphabetically, scroll down to OUTLOOK.EXE, click it and hit
button "End Process" then "Yes" on the pop-up.

I am assuming you have all current service packs installed (for OS and OL).
If not, do that first.

Hope this helps until someone comes up with a total fix. Please post back
either way.
