Outlook won't let me use my contacts.... :(

I'm using outlook 2003, and as of about 3 weeks ago (it
worked fine before then) my contacts don't seem to work;
first of all they don't show up in the list of options
when I click on the TO: button in a new email. It shows
the globabl address list but not my Contacts. Further more
some, but not all, of my contacts won't work even when I
click on the name and then click on Send New Email to
Contact. It even fills out the name/address, but when I
click send I get the stupid error that says it can't find
the address and has no suggestions. Even though the
correct address is right there. I don't know what I can
do, except I suppose reinstall the whole thing...damn, I
hate having to do that, why can't MS software work the
first time, I get tired of reinstalling it over and over
again. Damn it.

If you have Contacts in the Contacts folder but they are not accessible when
you click on the To button, check these settings:

Make sure the Contact folder is enabled as an email address book. Right
click the Contacts folder, choose Properties then Outlook Address Book. Is
the box to enable as email address book is checked?
