Outlook won't check mail

I have Outlook set to check mail every 5 minutes for all accounts but it
does not check it. It works fine when I hit the send/receive button and at
startup but that's it. It used to work. I don't know what changed.

Can anyone help?

Well, Melissa, that didn't do it - of course, But now my question has a
posted answer so everyone else will ignore it. I guess I will repost.

With Outlook closed, first try deleting the file
%Appdata%\Microsoft\Outlook\profilename.srs, where "profilename" is, of
course, your profile name. You'll need to reestablish your send/receive
settings, I believe. If that doesn't work, create a new mail profile in
Control Panel.
