Outlook with Word as editor

I just had to upgrade to Outlook 2002 to sync with my new
PDA, but since I have done that I can't use my Word 2000
as my email editor (option is grayed out under
tools/options/mail format menu). Is there any way to
work around this, or am I doomed to use the standard
Outlook editor?

Outlook 2002 cannot use Word for the email editor unless it's Word 2002.
