Outlook with Outlook Live

I was very interested in the features of Outlook Live, but I was wondering
the following:

1. Can it be used with non-hotmail, POP3 addresses? I'd like to use my own
domain email.
2. Is there a way to get *just* the connector? Is Live an addition to
Outlook or an alternative? I already own Office 2003.
3. Can Outlook Live be used on any computer while traveling? Do you have
to download anything? I'd like to be able to travel and use other people's
computers and still get to all my mail/folders/contacts/calendar/etc.
