Hello, I have office 2000. For some reason Outlook will
not open. I never had a problem before. I did a repair on
Office, but that did not fix it. I uninstalled office and
reinstalled it. That did not fix my Outlook. All the other
programs in Office work fine. What could be the problem
with my Outlook? Thank You.

Is there already an remnant instance of outlook.exe still in memory when you
are trying to load a subsequent instance of it? Use Task Manager to check.
If there is a hung outlook.exe process, kill it and then see if Outlook
loads okay.

Have you tried to load Outlook in safe mode ("outlook.exe /safe")? That
will load Outlook without any installed add-ins. Look at Tools ->
Options -> Other -> Advanced to see what add-ins you might have installed.
On startup, Outlook must load all the add-ins. If they hang or crash,
they'll hang or take Outlook with them. Same on exit from Outlook (i.e.,
Outlook must unload all the add-ins before it can unload itself).
