outlook will not open Word attachments

Related to these questions: I use Office 2003 and Outlook to send and receive
e-amil. From one day to the next, incoming Word attachments will not open. No
problem opening Excel attachments.Error message reads, "C:\Docs &
settings\Temp. Int. Files\OLK126... The archive is either in unknown format
or damaged. Can anyone help?

I think you've mistyped the folder path you see. With Outlook closed, clear
out that folder. Open Windows Explorer and enter the following into the
Address field:

%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK126

Click Go. You should then see the contents of that folder. Select
everything and delete it. Also, open IE and click Tools>Internet Optons (or
right-click the "E" on your desktop, if you display it, and choose
Properties"). Empty the Temporary Internet Files cache. Now restart
Outlook and see if it helped.
