Recently installed Outlook 2003 as part of Microsoft Office 2003
installation. Now when it tries to launch Outlook, it always asks for my
Microsoft Exchange Server. I am not part of a network, just a single user on
a home pc. How can I correct this so it just launches.
Also it will not let me add new names to the address book, or email to any
new recipients who are not already part of my existing address book. When I
try to, I get an error message that says "Outlook does not recognize one or
more names" and it won't accept that recipient address or send the email.
Very frustrating.

control panel->mail icon->email accounts->view/change. Remove the Exchange
account (why did you install this in the first place??) - easier method is
to remove your mail profile and start again with the correct one. Use POP3
as your mail account type.
