Shut down Outlook. Click Start>Run. Enter
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\xxx\Outlook.exe"
/ResetFolders

Oops. That should be
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Officexx\Outlook.exe" /ResetFolders
where "xx" is 10, 11, 9, or nothing.

The question was?

.

That didn't work. Any other ideas?

.
I'm having a problem viewing my Outlook Today folder.
When I select the Outlook Today button it brings up
my "Mailbox". It's like my Mailbox has become my Outlook
Today interface.

Is it your inbox or just a mail folder that is empty? If a mail folder,
right click on the folder name and choose properties, then the folder
homepage tab and check the option to show the folder homepage.

I know how to select a homepage for folders but when I
began using outlook 2003 it had it's own Outlook Today
interface like how many messages I had in my inbox and
outbox and what was coming up on my calender for that
week etc. I don't think that is a website that you would
select in the hompage tab.

That is what you are supposed to see in Outlook Today - did you confirm the
checkbox was checked to show the Outlook Today page and click the button to
reset it to the default?

I see what your getting at. So is the check box your
talking about under the homepage tab in mailbox
properties (it says "show homepage by default for this
folder"). because if it is it doesn't let me check it and
i've tried resetting defaults and that doesn't do
anything.

Yes, that one. What url does it have listed? The correct one is
res://C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\OFFICE11\1033\outlwvw.dll/outlook.htm (replace Office11 with the
proper version # if you don't use Outlook 2003)

Have you tried using detect and repair?

Ok, first I did the detect and repair and it didn't do
anything. So I went to where the URL you listed should be
and like you probably thought there was no URL. I entered
in the URL below and when I apply it and check the box
that needs to be checked. Nothing happens. So when I go
back into the properties it doesn't save it. I think
we're real close but it isn't doing what it is suppose to
be doing.
