With the new layout design in Outlook 2003, the Outlook Today page needs an
upgrade. Some content is now useless, and other content could be added. A
user should be able to decide if to show the messages section (which has
become obsolete now that the navigation pane and the three column design has
been incorporated), if to show tasks incorporated to the calendar (because it
is easy to loose sense of time for each task when it just comes in a separate
list), and if other content should appear. Other content could be favorites
folders, notes, hyperlinks, shortcuts, etc. More than 7 days should be
allowed in the calendar section. Finally, there should be more design themes
to it than the standard, the winter and the summer.

Outlook Today is a HTML page that you are welcome to customize to fit your
preferences, both using an HTML editor and using the registry to increase
the numbe of days shown in Outlook Today.

Milly,
Can you tell us where the html page is located and what the registry key
is that we would need to update?

Thanks,
Eric

I do no think that editting the registry is a normal user behaviour, but what
is the key we have to edit? and, where is the html page located?

Thanks

Emilio

I'm shocked by this reply. I would love to see a more customizeable and user
friendly Today page. I would LOVE to see a page that includes the calendar,
the tasks, the e-mail, and the contacts on one page. See PlanPlus for
Outlook for an idea.
