Hi!

I have set the outlook today page in Outlook 2000 to point to our
intranet using the information provided here:
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=262785

However, this does not seem to use IE in full mode. E.g. forms on the
intranet are not working. If I set the web page of any folder except
for the Outlook today folder everything works fine.

Is there any other way of making sure users arrive at the intranet
front page from within OL2000?

We are using Windows 2000 and Exchange Server 2003.

Regards,

Martin Perfelian

does it work if you set it as a home page for other folders? Right click on
any folder and choose properties - set the page on the home page tab.

Yes it does. I have tried setting the homepage on the Inbox folder and
then it works perfectly. It seems like it is only Outlook Today that
doesnt work.

I have also tried creating a new folder and setting the homepage. And
that works fine too.
Any ideas why outlook today wont work?

outlook today only uses partial IE stub, while folder home pages use the
full IE stub - see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q249972/ and
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q262785/ - which is the one I think you
already tried. Some of the latest windows/ie patches tighten security some,
i'm not sure how much.
