Hi everyone;

When I start Outlook and go to 'Outlook Today', I get this error:

An error has occurred in the script on this page.

Line: 298.
Char: 1.
Error: Class not registered.
Code: 0
URL: Outlook Today

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

The Microsot KnowledgeBase (KB) has an article on this error
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;329930) . I
followed their resolution exactly but the problem still happens. Does anyone
know of an alternative solution?

Thanks!!

If you followed all those instructions--especially Detect & Repair--and it
still didn't correct it, you might have to uninstall & reinstall. You could
also try a Windows Restore to an earlier date to correct the Registry error.
Make sure you have all the Office updates, available at the Office web site.

One thing you can try is to add "about:internet" to one of your Internet
Zones (Local Intranet or Trusted) that has permission to run all scripting.

Hi Brian, thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately, this doesn't work either. I added "outlook:today" and
"about:internet" to my Trusted Zone which has permission to run all scripts.
I re-started Outlook and still have the same problem.

Any other ideas?

Thanks!
