I got everything transferred from Outlook 2003 to Windows Mail. Everything
went very well. I set up my e-mail accounts with all the correct data. Even
with this I do not seem to be able to send or receive mail. Any suggestions?

Ask your email provider (who is probably also your internet provider) for
their instructions for setting up to use their email servers. If they
haven't
written instructions for Windows Mail yet, their instructions for Outlook
Express should work under Windows Mail as long as they don't use the
HTTP protocol. The instructions should be somewhere on their web
site. Or, you could tell us who your email provider is and see if anyone
here already knows where to find the instructions.

They don't seem to have put their instructions on how to connect to their
email servers on their web site, if they've even written such instructions.
Check here and see if you can find a way to ask them for these
instructions:

Thanks very much. I am new here and kind of at a loss. I did log on and
found absolutely nothing helpful. I then called their help desk. The level
one did not have a clue. Level two help then called and resolved the
problem. It was an easy fix but I came from a DSL environment and this is
cable. Apparently things are not quite the same. Thanks again.

You're welcome.
