Outlook to check when excel file is updated ?

Any idea how I could get outlook to check an Excel file every hour to see if it's been updated ?
 
I believe there is a Tracking option in Outlook where Outlook automatically tracks all the "Office" files which are modified

Check Tools--> Option --> Preferences (tab) --> Journal Options (Button) --> Also record files from (Options) .
