Hi Matt,
Thanks for posting here. I noticed that you had posted the same question
here on 02/02/05. Does my answer in that thread address your question?
I am afraid we cannot have Outlook delete the completed tasks
automatically. There is not related option for this function in Outlook. If
you complete the task manually, then you can simply delete them instead of
marking them as completed. Though perhaps we can achieve this purpose by
creating a customized VBA, I recommend using categorized views to
categorize the tasks and this workaround may be much easier to work for
your concern. Also, we can have a more clear view of all the tasks. To do
so:
-- Switch to Tasks folder
-- Select View/Current View in the Outlook menu bar
-- You can select to pick up "active tasks" or "completed tasks" only
-- If you want to delete all completed tasks, pick up all the completed
tasks and then simply delete them
Hope the information helps.
If you prefer to create a VBA to delete all completed tasks and you have
further concerns regarding the VBA, I suggest post the question on the MSDN
newsgroup, so you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and
other partners who the newsgroups regularly can either share their
knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Thank you for your
understanding.

Pat Cai
