I dont know what the issue stems from... could be i have alot of email in my
accounts. I have a hotmail account that seems to be where it slows down
alot.
I dont know what info to give to get this resolved... maybe someone could
give me some questions to find out the answer...

Is outlook able to get any messages at all? Is that the problem or is
Outlook taking a long time to start?

I do not think the no of E-Mails is a problem as long. I have around
308 MB worth of E-Mail and Outlook does not have a problem starting up.

What version of Outlook are you using and on what OS. Is the computer
old/new? Probably these details will give an insight of where the
problem lies.

Version: 2003 (11.6359.6408) SP1
On: XP Sp2 (TPC Edition)

Personal Folders: 24800 KB?
Hotmail Folders: 3190KB
My computer is almost exactly a year old.

It takes about 2 to 3 minutes for Outlook to start.. seems to not respond,
until it, well responds.
I wonder if it has to bug hotmail and it waits for hotmail.
Really anoying when I just want to check my email.

If you want to see if hotmail connection is the issue just remove the
Hotmail account from your outlook and then try starting Outlook. See if
this speeds up the process. If it does, then you definitely know that
it is a Hotmail connectivity issue. If not it is something else.
