Hi !
My outlook is all-day opened and as a result it is pretty annoying to see
it on taskbar , so I would prefer that when it is minimized to see it only
in system tray , but not
on taskbar ....
I browse all its options and didn't found any option like that...
is that impossible ? its a pretty simple thing...
would someone help me please...
thanks in advance....

Outlook 2003 will let you do what you are asking for. Open Outlook,
then right-click on the Outlook icon in the system tray and choose
"Hide When Minimized".

Cheers,

John

John wrote that Outlook 2003 has that feature, and he's correct but
incomplete. Outlook 2002 also has than feature as a registry edit. Add the
key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Preferences\MinToTray
as a DWORD with the value 1

You're in the wrong newsgroup. This is an Microsoft Office Outlook forum.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.

Here is the link for the right forum

Good Luck!
