Anyone who sends me an e-mail gets a blank reply from me. Regular e-mails are
fine, just the glitch of responding with blanks.

Anyone else have this? How do I make it stop?!?!?!??!

In addition, if you're actively scanning email with antivirus, this could be
the culprit. Either disable the integration with Outlook or you will have to
uninstall and reinstall without the Outlook scanning part. If you're using
Norton, it's more difficult and you'll need to visit their website to obtain
a utility that will help you. Their uninstall doesn't actually uninstall
everything so it can still cause issues with Outlook.

I am not using stationary nor Norton. The problem started when I used the
Vacation Response back in August. I have disabled the VR but the problem
persists.

I do have McAfee Security System on my computer - do you know how do I
disengage that just from Outlook? Thanks!

Not using stationary and not using Norton. I have McAfee Security System but
think it is for AOL email and IM only... ???? Thanks.

and... I believe this problem started after I used the Vacation Response tool
in August. I disabled it but could this be a source of the problem?

What type of mail account do you have?

So a POP3 account?

What happens if you open Outlook in safe mode?

Start > Run > outlook.exe /safe

Note the space between outlook.exe and /safe

If you're running Vista, it's Start > Start Search > outlook.exe /safe

Are your outgoing emails still blank?

I started it in safe mode and will let you know if the problem continues.
It is not all outgoing message, just to remind you. The system grabs the
incoming e-mail address and shoots back a blank message. Really appreciate
your help; I'll let you know what happens!!!

Are you talking about Read Receipts?

No, not read receipts. It is a glitch of some sort.
I'll have a normal e-mail exchange with someone. Outlook then sends a blank
email from me to that person. It happens to anyone that I have an email
exchange with.

I don't ask for read receipts.

Let's see how it goes in Safe Mode.

What's the "Vacation Response tool"?

Since Outlook doesn't have a "vacation response tool" built in, it's likely
a 3rd party add in that's causing the issue. Running Outlook in safe mode
should disable it. If Outlook works in safe mode, then you know there is
something integrated with Outlook that is preventing its normal function.

It is an Out of Office message, auto responder. It is via Yahoo! Biz Mail.
I've been running in safe mode for a couple of days now and haven't heard
anything from anyone about receiving blank e-mails... fingers crossed.

Examine your add-ins, then, to see if is listed. If so, disable it.

I'm not sure I know whta add-ins are - I'll look for it.

AND, it IS still happening, even in safe mode. :(

Add-ins are found by different menu paths in different versions and you have
failed to state your Outlook version. Nonetheless, if it happens in safe
mode, then add-ins are disabled, so it's not likely an Outlook add-in. Have
you asked the vendors of the autoresponder? It seems like it is that app
causing your problem, not Outlook.
