Outlook Spell Checker Error

I am running XP and i have had a problem with the spell checking tool in
outlook express. It just says that there was an error while spelling was
being checked. I have had this since i installed it all but it is now
really getting on my tits. The Spell checking on all my word or excel
sheets work fine.

Any idea's
