Outlook should have a view that shows date message was deleted

I would like to be able to sort my deleted items in Outlook by the date each
one was deleted. I keep pending items in my Inbox. Sometimes, they are quite
old before I have a chance to deal with them. Occasionally, something may get
deleted by accident. If I know which email was deleted, I can use search
terms to find it. However, if I am not sure which email was deleted, it would
be helpful to sort by date deleted.

Um, deleted items folder is for the trash. Do you actually sort your trash?

The closest you can come is to use Field Chooser to add the Modified date to
the message list and then sort by that.

I think this is for when you change your mind after deleting an older
message, or when you delete an older message by mistake. If your Deleted
Items folder is big, it can be tough to go back and find the thing you just
deleted.

Um, Milly, you jerk, can't you read? "..deleted by accident.". I have had 2
VPs in my company hit me with this same problem. Arrogant, unhelpful
responses like you offer here are not an option in the real working world nor
appreciated. Perhaps you may actually have a job some day and understand
that concept. Hopefully you have lost your MVP status by now. The
suggestion to sort by modified does not work either. I have tried that on 4
different PCs now and not one has worked as stated. Anyone out there have a
real solution to this most annoying oversight in the development of Outlook?
Thanks.

if modified doesn't work then there is no way.

modified works here...

Thanks for the reply Diane. Any idea why every PC I've tested this on now
does not work as stated? I've seen the same symptoms on 4 different PCs now,
modified date is just about the same time (sometimes off by a minute or 2) as
the received time. Doesn't seem to matter if the email was acted upon by a
rule or not.
