outlook should have a shortcut to create a new message from a spe.

i think it would be really nice if i could create new messages that are
linked to a specific account. currently, it's a two step process: Ctrl + N,
then change the account you want to use.

a cool one-step implementation could be adding the new message action to the
speed menu of an accout icon. in other words, right click on the account
icon in the folder explorer and choose "new message." then, the new message
automatically is set to be sent from that account.

wouldn't that be nice?

No, it's not. You simply click the Accounts button and choose the account
from which to send the message.
