Outlook should allow atomatic collapse of all group when navigation.

On opening the Outlook 2007 Beta version it shows all the groups In the
inbox( from who the mail is received ) Expanded. I collapse the groups using
view option then collapse all. All the groups get collapsed however, when I
close the outlook and open it again it is again expanded. The same problem
was not there in Office 2003

You might try posting this to a newsgroup related to Outlook.

This newsgroup is for discussion of Access, the database product that's part
of Office Professional.
